Join us as a web application designer to make our websites and web applications look and feel great. Our sites have previously won three Webby awards along with other prestigious accolades. You’ll be working with UX engineers, developers and our clients to create mockups, explore design ideas, colour schemes, branding and typography. You will have control over the design decisions that make a difference to the usability of the final product, and will need a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Brand development
• Rapid prototyping of design concepts in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Managing design process
• Optimising and standardising design elements, maintaining style guides

Required skills

• Creative flair for colour, typography, and layout
• Page/interface design
• Icon design
• Photoshop and Illustrator to expert level

Desirable skills

• Wireframing
• Information architecture
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Desirable background

A great portfolio. No academic qualifications or previous experience required – though most successful candidates have at least a bachelor’s degree and several previous positions, we don’t automatically think you’re good just because you do as well.

Salary

We offer salaries of £25,000 – £50,000 for designer roles.
